Rockfish reels have been designed to accompany our Rockfish rods, they are super lightweight and perfectly formed for LRF fishing. The body is graphite, which is corrosion resistant but also light. The spool is made from machined aluminium with a honeycomb construction. This construction is not only strong but reduces the weight of the spool considerably. The powerful drag is ideal for use with the more progressive action of an ultra-light rod, and can be fine-tuned to the fishing situation. The 5+1 bearings give the reel a smooth retrieve that ensures your lures are worked back consistently, a big factor when ultra-light fishing. The reel is completed with a screw in handle, that is strong and eliminates wobble.

– Designed for ultralight fishing, the reel is light in weight and corrosion resistant.
– Powerful, smooth drag that can be fine-tuned to the smallest degree.
– 5+1 bearings provide an ultra-smooth retrieve, important when fishing with ultra-light lures.
– Screw in handle that provides strength and eliminates handle wobble.

Available in 1000 and 2000 sizes

Two reels designed to go with our popular HTO Hooligan bass lure fishing rods. The reel is made from composite, which is strong and light. It has a machined aluminium spool and CNC machined aluminium handle with a grippy soft rubber knob for comfort. There is no anti-reverse on this reel, which helps to reduce any corrosion getting into the reel, and prevents accidental switching during the fight. The drag is well-balanced, smooth and highly adjustable. The 5+1 bearings make it a smooth running reel and the 5.1:1 retrieve balances a high pickup with power for bigger fish. An excellent reel to match up with our Hooligan bass rods.

– Made from strong but light composite. Ideally suited to our Hooligan Bass Lure Rods.
– Machined aluminium spool and CNC machined aluminium handle with grippy soft rubber knob.
– No anti-reverse to stop water getting into the reel and to eliminate accidental gear switching when playing a fish.
– Well balanced and smooth drag system that is highly adjustable.
– 5+1 bearings make it a smooth running reel.
– 5.1:1 retrieve balances high pick up with power for bigger fish.

Available in 3000 and 4000 sizes

An ultralight reel designed specifically for the modern lure angler in a range of sizes suitable for LRF fishing up to bass and general lure fishing. Constructed with a sealed, graphite body that keeps water out of the gearing and helps to reduce corrosion from saltwater considerably. To further keep weight down, the rotor is also constructed from graphite. Internally, the gearing is cold-forged aluminium which offers a high level of durability with a micro module crown and pinion for increased smoothness and efficiency. A super-reinforced main shaft avoids any twists and vibration when playing large fish. Completing the guts of this reel are 5 high quality stainless-steel ball bearings and 1 continuous anti-reverse bearing.

The drag is powerful, built from a multi-layer disc system constructed of carbon and stainless-steel discs. The carbon offers increased grip and power to the drag.

A high strength spool made from customised aluminium is designed for both braid and mono. A machined, aluminium handle with ergonomic EVA power grip allows you to crank down on larger species with ease.

With a body and rotor built from a high grade carbon composite, these reels offer strength, rigidity, and lightness. They come with a solid aluminium CNC machined screw in handle for ultimate reliability and come fitted with a comfortable EVA knob. We’ve also done away with the anti-reverse, eliminating any saltwater ingress into the reel where the switch would traditionally be.

The reel comes with an aluminium spool, specifically designed for braid.

Internally, the reel features 7+1 stainless-steel bearings, which ensures a smooth retrieve that is corrosion resistant. The reels main shaft is made from aluminium, providing the perfect balance between weight and strength. The carbon-based drag is smooth but incredibly powerful and sensitive. LRF and bass anglers will particularly like its smooth flowing start up inertia. Finally, the gear ratio of 5.2:1 provides a quick retrieve with excellent grunt for battling forceful fish.
