Description
A classic fine wire circle hook pattern with a short shank, wide gape, and an inwardly curved point. Designed to ensure that fish are hooked each time correctly, the hook being pulled away from the fishes’ stomach or throat and into the jaw or mouth corner without damaging the fish. This makes hook removal easy, causing less damage to the fish, especially useful for conservation-minded anglers who practice catch and release. A good hook for targeting common catch and release species such as smoothhound, tope, other sharks, and fast running species. It is important to note that when fishing with circle hooks, you should not strike the fish, simply wind into the fish to ensure the hook point is set correctly.
